WHO: HRPC is a church in Gillette, Wyoming, dedicated to the glorification of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a caring church family and for convicting, Biblically centered preaching, we invite you to visit during an upcoming service. Our church family is a mix of different ages and backgrounds, with our unity found in Him.

WHAT: When people have asked "what makes HRPC different," the answer is found in the way we preach, teach, and exhort one another in the fullness of God's Word. We proclaim a crucified and risen Christ as the only hope for mankind, and do so with grace and conviction. Christ is risen, the Bible is His Word, and salvation comes through Him and Him alone.

Genuine affection and care for one another is how a church testifies to the truth of what it believes. HRPC's members and guests appreciate the way in which our worship is patterned after the grace and hospitality to which Christ calls us. We are a church FAMILY, and care for each other as such.

WHERE: We meet at HRPC's church facility at 2200 Greenway Drive, just off of Hwy 14-16 on the northwest side of town. The facility has expansive seating, nursery care, a cry room, ample parking, and other family-friendly amenities.

HRPC Seminar: 'Is The Bible True?'

On Saturday, February 26th, from 7 to 8PM Harvest Reformed Presbyterian Church invites you to a seminar on the history, reliability, and truth claims of Scripture.

SEMINAR DETAILS:

TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:

What Is At Stake - Does it really matter if the Bible is God's Word? Are there other books that can argue the same thing? Is the Bible completely true, or does it only contain individual statements that are true?
What Are the Evidences - What proofs exist within the fields of history and archaeology to validate Scripture? How can we make the intellectual claim that the Bible is "inerrant" and "inspired?"
What are the Common Objections - How do we know that we have the 'right' books of the Bible? What about all of the various translations? Are there inconsistencies in Scripture? How can we be certain of Scripture's reliability, when its view of creation seems at odds with modern science?
The Bibles Sufficiency - Are there additional gospels or books that are inspired? What about the Roman Catholic apocrypha? Does God continue to reveal new truths to His people? Does the Bible need to be added to or augmented as time goes by?
How Can One Be Sure - Is it possible to KNOW, without doubt or reservation, that the Bible really is the divine Word of God?

WHO: HRPC is a new church plant in Gillette, Wyoming, seeking affiliation with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Our church family is a mix of different ages and backgrounds, with our unity found in Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a caring church family and for convicting, Biblically centered preaching, we invite you to visit during an upcoming service.

WHERE: We presently meet at the popular Skate Land facility at 885 Hannum Road, overlooking Warlow Drive and Bicentennial Park. The facility has expansive seating, nursery care, ample parking, and family-friendly amenities.

WHY: Jesus Christ is our Messiah, Redeemer, and King. His Word is inerrant and infallible. It is through the preaching of our resurrected Christ AND demonstrating His power in our lives that HRPC finds our mandate: "Be doers of the Word and not hearers only" (James 1:22). We hold to the historic truths of the Christian faith, seeking to apply these truths in tangible ways in our community. Statement of Beliefs

We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that all are sinners, unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy.

We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.

We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises.

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.

We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge mankind and receive His people to Himself.

We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

On Independence Day and throughout the year, Americans rightly celebrate our liberties, our history, and our national pride. We are a blessed people living in a blessed land. However, what is the source of this blessing? And is the purpose of the blessing to point us toward a flag, or to point us toward God?

On July 2nd, Harvest Reformed Presbyterian Church will hold a 'God and Country' seminar dedicated to seeing issues of nationalism through the lens of Scripture.

TEACHING HIGHLIGHTS:

A Christian worldview is essential to understanding issues of nationalism.
Jesus Christ is not just the Lord of the Church, but the Lord over every part of His creation.
Because God rules the nations, it is therefore His Word by which they are directed.
The source of man's laws must transcend man himself, in order for what we call 'right' and 'wrong' to be anything more than just the codification of our desires.

Christmas Service

December 23rd at 7:00PM

“Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill toward men!” - Luke 2:10-14

Come Join Us on Thursday, December 23rd at 7:00PM, for a time of Christmas carols, special music, Scripture readings, and praise for our newborn King! Nursery care and refreshments will be provided.
